<p>The Invariants have invited us punting this Sunday (the 3rd of May). What 
better way to celebrate the end of CATAM and have a day out before 
revisions and exams begin mounting up?

catch the X5 leaving Cambridge at 9.10am and shall be returning before 8pm

<p>The third Andrew Chamblin Memorial
Lecture, entitled "How Many Universes Are There?", will be given by
Professor Paul Davies at 5 pm on Monday 4th May in Lady Mitchell Hall,
Sidgwick Avenue, Cambridge.

Admission is free and there are no tickets or reserved seats - please just
turn up on the day if you'd like to attend.</p>

<p>We're looking for a committee for next year. So if you have enjoyed
our events, or have ideas on how we could make things better, then Get

Positions available are:<br/>
- President: Has overall responsibility for the Society<br/>
- Vice President: Provides refreshments and oversees subgroups<br/>
- Secretary: Main job is to invite speaker<br/>
- Treasurer: Deals with the Money<br/>
- Registrar: Responsible for membership & recruiting freshers<br/>
- Publicity Officer: Responsible for advertising events & updating the website<br/>
- Entertainments Officer: Responsible for the Social side of the society<br/>

<p>"Quantization and Differential Operators"<br/>by Prof. Raphael Rouqier, Magdalen College, Oxford
<br/><br/>
He will discuss deformation and quantization of vector spaces with
extra symmetries. Elementary deformations of the partial derivatives
came up recently that led to surprisingly rich mathematics, at the
crossroad of algebra, combinatorics, algebraic and harmonic analysis,
geometry and mathematical physics.
<br/><br/>
Talk is free to members, 1 pound for non-members.
